More Mini Flowers

Ok...I hope you don't mind...I just can't put the Simon Mini Flowers and Leaves away!!!  I just got the Simon Perfect Shapes stamps/dies set and made this...
I die cut the three largest hexagons, stamped the stripes and sentiment, die cut and layered the flowers, leaves,  and sentiment and popped up the striped panel on the white card.  Here's a close up look...
Simplicity and sweetness...love these flowers!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

Three Cards With Stitched Edges

My daughter needed some get well cards,  so I made a simple card using some two-sided patterned paper with the My Favorite Things Stitched Basic Edges dies, an EK Success flower punch, and a Papertrey Ink sentiment.  What ensued, were two more cards with different colored papers, flowers, and sentiments...oh WHAT FUN!!...
I also used the My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Flowers dies, the leaves from that set, for my flowers.  I decided to use three of the four different edges for the cards...these edges are SO COOL!!!  I popped up the stitched panel on the card.  The paper is from AC Moore.   Here's a close up...
Here's a thank you card in purple(notice the gingham is not on angle...so funny how different they make the paper)...
Here's a birthday card in pink...
I do have to say...the Papertrey Ink Keep It Simple sentiment stamps are some of my favorite...I think I have almost all of them...they are versatile in all different fonts, and perfect on any card...just sayin:)!!

Mini Flowers and Leaves

Did you ever start out creating with NO IDEA of what you were doing, or where you were going with a card?  Today is the result of one of those days...
I knew I wanted to use my Simon Mini Flowers and Leaves, but wasn't sure of much else.  I pulled out my Simon Stitched Square dies and thought...wouldn't it be cool to make them kind of into diamonds down the center of the card?  Then I decided to let the center "diamond" be the place to put all my mini flowers.  I added a striped panel in the background and a birthday sentiment from the Simon Jumbo Stripes stamp set that I cut apart and stamped on top of each other, rather than side by side.  Here's a close up...

What a fun card to make!  THEN, I had leftover pink and orange flowers that I didn't think I was going to use, as I opted to use blue and yellow on the card I made, so I made another card...with a sentiment from the same set as the first...
It's so hard to tell unless you see this up close and in person, but I took my Wink of Stella pen, and gave some glitter to the middle flower...
OK...LOVE these flowers!!!
Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa

CAS(E) this Sketch 164...Dreams

I was intrigued by the sketch  this week, at CAS(E) this Sketch ...here's what I created along with  the sketch...

I saw the three different designs as three different elements, so I used the Simon Says Stamp Border Waves and three different colored textured papers for the waves.  I used the Simon Says Stamp Sail Away stamp set to stamp the boat on wood veneer paper and some rainbow patterned paper for the sailboat.  I used the Simon Set Sail dies to die cut the sailboat base, then paper pieced the handcut wood veneer and patterned papers to the layered die cut sailboat.  I used the Simon Summer Greetings "dreams" die for the front of the card(layered twice).  Here's a close up...
Then, I carried that sentiment to the inside of the card with a stamped sentiment from the Sail Away set...
Oh...so much fun!!  Thanks for visiting me today!! Hugs!! Lisa
